The joys of Motherhood

It has nearly been two weeks since we have had Lilly in our lives. She is growing so fast. She has her eyes open when she is awake. She has found out that her hands work, and sometimes she doesn't realize that she is hitting herself with them. She has a variety of cries: hungry, sleepy, I don't want my diaper changed, I don't want to sleep in my bed I want to sleep with Mommy and Daddy. I love her so much. I have found out that if I stay calm in every situation, she seems to calm down even more as well. I really enjoyed my Mommie being with us for the last couple of weeks. She was so nice and helpful, and I love her very much. My mother-in-law is going to be coming in with Rhiana at the end of next week. I am excited for them to see Lilly and see how we live out here. :) But being a mom is definitely worth it. I am glad that I have waited as long as I have so that I can enjoy it.
