Weekly Appointment Two

Okay this weekly appointment didn't go very well as expected. Well first of all it wasn't so bad. I actually lost a pound, which made me feel good. My blood pressure was normal, and stuff. So that was good, but once again when they go to find the heartbeat, they took five minutes or more to find the heartbeat. At first they just thought she was hiding or something, then they found the heartbeat above my belly button which I thought was high. The heartbeat was in normal range though, but wasn't loud. So the tech that was doing the heartbeat said that she would tell the doctor about where she found the heartbeat, and then like in a minute or less, my doctor comes flying in and pushing on my tummy to make sure Lilly was head down. And the doctor did say that she was head down at this point, but she was still really high and they were afraid that she might not go down into the birth canal. So next week they are going to have to monitor that a little closely. I was sort or scared at that point. But thanks to family and friends and hubby's support, I don't feel so bad. I know that anything can happen in two weeks or so and it is still early. But I am going to request next week if they are still having problems finding the heartbeat, etc, that I get an ultrasound just to ease my mind and make sure everything is doing okay in there. Also next week they are going to start checking me for dilation, efacement, and staging so that is interesting too. And what I am excited about the most is my Mom is coming in at the end of next week. I am so so excited.
