Okay sorry I have delayed somewhat in blogging. But our family had a great holiday season. We first of all before Thanksgiving found out that we were expecting our first child, and then Thanksgiving was just a nice time at home and at a friend's house where we had some great food. Christmas was great too where we didn't travel anywhere especially if anyone knows our luck with traveling on holidays. We were able to call all our families and see how their holidays were going. A little after Christmas we got word that Granny Barrett had past away. It was another hard reality for us to not to be able to be with family at a time of need. It is good to hear that most people were doing good with the passing. And it was so nice that some of the family members were able to create a bond with her before the end. I only wish I was able to. That is okay I know one day I will. And then just on Tuesday of this week, we had our first ultrasound of our little baby, and it was so amazing. We saw that it was growing and there was something actually in my tummy, and we heard the heart beat. It was so amazing to experience that with each other. I will hopefully be able to scan a picture soon of how the baby looks. We found out that it is measuring 11 weeks or so, so the due date is at the end of July. We are so excited of what the new year will bring us and the experiences that we will share.
